References to “you”, “client”, “user” mean the individual, parent/carer, organisation or professional purchasing or accessing our services.

2. Scope of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to:

  • All services provided by Little Steps SEND LTD, including but not limited to:

    • SEND advocacy and advice

    • Training (online, in-person, recorded or written)

    • Consultancy

    • Document review and guidance

    • Workshops, courses and resources

  • Use of our website and materials

  • Any engagement unless overridden by a separate written agreement

By using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

3. Nature of Services & No Guarantee Clause 

Little Steps SEND LTD provides information, guidance, training, advocacy and support relating to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

  • We do not provide legal advice.

  • We do not act as solicitors, barristers or regulated legal representatives.

  • Any guidance provided is educational and advisory in nature only.

No Guarantee

While we act with reasonable care and professional skill:

  • We cannot guarantee outcomes, including (but not limited to):

    • EHCP decisions

    • Tribunal outcomes

    • Local authority actions

    • Educational placements

  • Decisions remain solely with the relevant public bodies, tribunals, or institutions.

 

.4.  Client Responsibilities

 

You agree that:

  • All information you provide to Little Steps SEND LTD is accurate, complete and honest to the best of your knowledge.

  • While we provide professional guidance, information and support, decisions and actions taken as a result of that guidance remain the responsibility of the client. We support and advise, but do not make decisions on your behalf.

  • Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, you remain responsible for submitting documents, evidence and forms by required deadlines.

  • You understand that Little Steps SEND LTD does not provide legal advice and that independent legal advice should be sought where appropriate.

 

We are not responsible for outcomes that are affected by:

  • Incomplete, inaccurate or late information provided to us

  • Delays or actions outside our reasonable control

  • Decisions made by third parties, including but not limited to local authorities, tribunals, schools, or other public bodies

 

5. Safeguarding & Boundaries

Little Steps SEND LTD:

  • Is not a care provider

  • Does not provide therapy, medical services or emergency support

  • Does not supervise children or vulnerable adults

All services involving children or young people must:

  • Be arranged via a parent/carer or commissioning organisation

  • Remain within professional and safeguarding boundaries

 

6. Fees, Payment & Cancellation

Fees

  • Fees are agreed in advance and confirmed in writing

  • All fees are payable in GBP unless otherwise stated

Payment

  • Payment is required in advance, unless otherwise agreed in writing

  • Late payments may result in suspension of services

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made in writing

  • Refunds are not guaranteed and are assessed case-by-case

  • No refunds for:

    • Completed services

    • Missed sessions without notice

    • Digital or downloadable content once accessed

 

7. Intellectual Property

All materials remain the intellectual property of Little Steps SEND LTD, including:

  • Training materials

  • Written reports

  • Templates, slides, recordings, and resources

You may:

  • Use materials for personal or internal professional use only

You may not:

  • Copy, share, sell or reproduce materials without written permission

  • Represent our materials as your own

 

8. Confidentiality & Data Protection

We handle personal data in accordance with:

  • UK GDPR

  • Data Protection Act 2018

Confidentiality

  • Information shared with us is treated as confidential

  • We will only disclose information:

    • With your consent

    • Where required by law

    • Where safeguarding concerns arise

Safeguarding Override

If we believe there is a risk of harm, we reserve the right to share information with appropriate authorities.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

Little Steps SEND LTD will provide its services with reasonable care and skill.

 

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage, including but not limited to loss of opportunity, loss of income, or distress arising from outcomes beyond our control.

  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with the services provided shall be limited to the total fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

 

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

  • Any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law

 

10. Professional Indemnity & Insurance

Little Steps SEND LTD holds appropriate business insurance, including Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance. Further details are available on request.

 

11. Complaints Procedure

If you are unhappy with our services:

  1. Contact us in writing within 14 days

  2. We will acknowledge within 5 working days

  3. We aim to resolve complaints within 28 days

 

12. Website Use & External Links

  • Website content is provided “as is”

  • We are not responsible for:

    • External websites

    • Third-party content

    • Reliance placed on external links

 

13. Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse or terminate services

  • Withdraw access to materials

Where:

  • Terms are breached

  • Behaviour is abusive or unreasonable

  • Continued engagement would be inappropriate or unsafe

 

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by English law.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

 

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.
The latest version will always be available on our website.

Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
